Hendo was probably better than you think. I reckon VVD really respected him. Virg made this awful tackle in a crucial game against Napoli that he really should have been sent for and Hendo tore into him and Virg just had this look that was shamed and taking it in. I don’t think that is the dynamic that people would have had in mind.

On this Oliver thing, if people do really think he is corrupt or just awful then you are genuinely better making common cause with Arsenal and Man Utd fans who think he has done them over. It will have a much bigger impact than claiming he is just doing to it to Liverpool.

You’re absolutely 100% right. I’m just, I dunno… f***ed off even though I know I shouldn’t be. Like after that Newcastle game. Thinking about it. I think part of it is that I really want to rub it in the faces of rival fans and enjoy their misery. It’s pretty petty but it would have felt great after tonight.

I’ e got my rational brain saying if we had won to go from 3 points clear to 6 points clear then we’d all be delighted. But then I can’t help but feel gutted anyway. Agree but we could have gone 8 clear with a game in hand against an awful Man Utd and then we could have done 9 tonight. It just felt doable each time is all.

The games against S’ton and Man City feel like the last time we took really decisive steps to shut down the morale of out opposition. We keep chucking opportunities to stomp on their throats. If we don’t f*** around in the 98th minute then Arsenal just give up. It’s really annoying.
