f***ing hell, the state of that back five. It's just unreal. I remember getting used to Skrtel backing off all the time, and us conceding goals all the time. But I never realised how much one was a product of the other until the Klopp era when we got used to proper defenders stepping out. He came on once as a sub and did his usual backing off s*** and sent everyone behind him into chaos and it finally clicked for me.

Mac Allister is just clearly superb though. He's the best player out of those five and has his peak coming up. It's probably him. *Maybe Gakpo cos he's a forward though -

A lot of people said that, but personally I'd expected a tricky first season while he got the hang of the job and the players got used to him and would have settled for 4th.
