Diaz is on weirdly low wages so we probably need to either sell him or give him a new contract
Not convinced many foreign teams have got the money or need to go big on any of our forwards
Thought he was really good, up against tricky wingers that would get the better of most full backs on occasion.
Our best player last night after Ali and Virge for me. And all the subs
Would have been a very soft red card on Konate, but the narrative is clear that he should have gone and we're lucky
Also offsides shouldn't be given for their disallowed goal...yeah go back and change the rules and allow it eh?
It will be better for other fans' mental health to just accept we're better than them and start bowing to us before games or something
There was a comment that he'd only scored once in his last 25 CL games...which sounded odd. I'd imagine there's a lot of sub appearances in that if it's right
Team of the year then
Konate and Virg at centre backs obviously
Kerkez left back
Mac, Grav and one other in midfield...probably Rodri
Mo, Wood, Isak up front
Too biased?
Cunha looks like the best bet of the realistic targets to me and has the bonus of a release clause. I'm hoping we get 2 forwards but doubt we will unless Mo goes
They're doesn't seem to be a load of choice fir central forwards at the moment, not that I spend much time watching football outside the Prem
Yeah he's deffo been the most consistent of the others this season and much prefer him settled on the left. But if I'm being picky I don't like him up top with Jota as we lose pace/ball carrier and he's scored 1 away goal in the league....
I'm another starting to worry about our forwards next year if he goes. He's at such a high consistent level now that he's freeing up space for the others as well as delivering high numbers
Really like having 5 forwards to rotate/ being on a couple late on fresh. But think there's different doubts about all the other 4
Anyway. I'll worry about it next season, this one is too juxh fun
