One of Juve’s stripped titles (2006) was given to third-placed Inter. Personally, I’d be stunned if PL punish City that severely. It’s a club of clubs who govern themselves. They certainly won’t be stripped of titles; that would tarnish the PL brand too much. And the PL rules on FFP and short-term cost controls and especially any sanctions are so nebulously described in the PL handbook they might as well be non-existent. Think some of the Heysel trending might have just comparing to last major ban of English clubs and not necessarily with bad intentions.

Given the offences occurred between 2012 and 2016, you’d imagine any PL punishments would apply to those season. Depending on cutoff point, that would mean one more title for us and potentially one more for the other Manchester club.

Surely the settlement would preclude any further civil or criminal proceedings, or why would LFC have agreed. FA says its not investigating so nothing to worry about. And any FA/PL punishment for this would be minimal.

Strange phrasing. But it happened in 2013 and we subsequently agreed a settlement with City.

Seems it's the nature of modern online "fandom" where a video of Wan-Bissaka playing a five-yard pass with the caption "TAA could never" is more important than trophies in proving their team is better, or, just as good, that the team that you support is rubbish.
