  1. Gravenberch doesn't take up a non homegrown slot so he makes sense as an extra body in midfield. As long as we get another.
  2. I'd take Doucore, Amrabat and Gravenberch. But then can't get a non-homegrown cb.
  3. The advantage of Gravenberch is, that due to his age, he won't fill up a non-homegrown slot. So if he's one of at least 3 coming in then I'm all for it.
  4. It means we can't get 2 non homegrown midfielders and a defender. Not that we're going to buy 3 more players anyway.
  5. We've got a home grown issue now that we're not getting Lavia. Can only get 2 more in. I think we can get more under 21's in but that potentially creates a problem in future.
  6. It just makes an absolute mockery of FFP
  7. I'm leaning towards us getting him now. This bid from Chelsea is taking too long.
  8. It's all really bizarre. I wouldn't be completely shocked if we end up with both. Although I expect we might end up with Lavia.
  9. And the FA will do absolutely nothing about it.
  10. We wouldn't have agreed a British record deal without encouragement from their camp. They probably just wanted to move things along and get something accepted, set the price and then carry on negotiations with Chelsea and hope Brighton accept another bid from Chelsea.
  11. I think Caceido told us he would sign for us. Then Chelsea came in and offered significantly higher wages/agent fees and he's changed his mind. FFP is a joke.
  12. Alvarez going to West Ham for less than that. Not sure why we're not in for him. Alvarez going to West Ham for less than that. Not sure why we're not in for him.
  13. The Lavia interest was there before the Fabinho and Henderson interest from Saudi. So you've got to expect we've got about £40m + the Fabinho & Henderson money. I expect the dilemma is whether to get 2 players in the £40-£50m bracket or whether to go all out on one £80-£100m player who will significantly improve the first team, but might leave us short on numbers.
  14. I'd prefer a loss to a draw in this. Obviously hoping for the win.
  15. If Leeds or Nottingham forest win at the weekend and Everton lose against Leicester. Then they're 5 points of safety. Can't see them making that up.
  16. I'd take Forests fixtures out of those. However if there is a winner between Leicester and Everton that could be a big result. If Everton lose to Leicester they're in real trouble.

  21. But getting one in now relies on being able to sell Ox. You then have the issue that you have a new midfielder whose better than Ox, but not as good as Bellingham on a long term contract when Bellingham might be available next season. Presumably with a good indication he wants to join us.
