  16. I actually preferred Sturridge when he was fit over Torres, and I believe the stats back me up.

  18. Firmino was the better player for us, but longevity doesn't necessarily equate to someone being fundamentally a better player. I still have debates with myself around Salah and Suarez for example. I feel really s*** about it but even to do this day, after everything I still think Suarez is the best player I've ever seen play for Liverpool.
  19. Isn't his agent his brother/dad?
  20. In life, it's always good to have options and I think he has an abundance of them. He's won everything with us, it'll be s*** if he goes but honestly if players left us for nothing after winning everything it's less of a bitter pill to swallow. Another scouser made it good. My gut feeling is that he will probably leave, I also think that whilst you could have argued this could have been sorted earlier which I agree with I think a series of events over the past 18 months have made this difficult 1. I wonder to what extent Trent entering into a new contract 12 months ago and for Klopp to leave may have been construed as bad faith 2. The seismic change in the clubs operations over the past 12 months have certainly contributed to a lack of development in all new contracts, and a need to focus in on key areas. Whilst I don't think FSG can escape scrutiny if he does end up leaving on a free, I think it's more nuanced than simply them dropping the ball.
  21. You're always going to get people going to their first game and more power to them but you can't deny it doesn't have an impact, I mean the sheer complication of the ticketing strategy means people who aren't match savvy end up late and disrupting everyone else when trying to find their seat. I really don't think the electronic ticketing system has really helped anyone tbh. I think the music is far too loud as well - I don't think this is George's fault but very little gets going before the game. I also blame the f***ing songs, they're too long. Whatever happened to simple songs, you used to be able to go through the first 11 before kick off. Not every song has to be something that can be played by some fella with a guitar. Rinse and repeat some of the older favourites Super Cody Gakpo Diego Jota (Clap Clap Clap) Oh Andy Andy Salah (Clap Clap Clap) Oh Alli Macca Dominic Szbobozlai (Clap Clap Clap)
  22. The stewards are partly no longer employed by the club and are employed by agencies who support concerts etc which is a very bad thing. On my section the steward just outright refused to help people find their seats during the game which pissed people off.
  23. I'm really not that worried about Slot. Having had a few days to think about it. Yes it was bad this weekend but it was bad in the context of Szobo having a 0/10 and everyone apart from the defence (arguably) having a 6/10. I felt his subs where mad and in hindsight he probably should have just taken Szobo off. I think things like these are 'bound' to happen in one form or another as they get used to his style of play. But you do have to give credit to Forrest I thought they where good tbh. One thing that did worry me is that they did look bigger than us all over the pitch.
  24. This seems a good a place as any to discuss the recent atmosphere at the ground. I think there are a few things that are just making a natural impact 1. No Klopp, no post match fun and games means people are more inclined to get off early. - Getting too and from the game has been an issue for years. Even if this is sorted with train/tram links I'm not overly certain it will have an impact but none the less leaving 5 minutes before the end especially in a bad game is a judgement call. 2. Singing Areas - My ticket is in the lower kenny and tbh it's not the best I can feel myself just muttering the songs rather than going full gusto. The Upper Anny and Kop seem to be the places to go nowadays 3. Ticketing. The ticketing is absolutely just borderline abysmal. Queues outside the ticket office before the game and I saw loads of empty seats at kick off, I counted 6 people in my section trying to find their seat Genuinely not sure how you fix it
  25. Szobo should have been dragged off at 30 Grav played well Jota was anonymous its like they forgot how to make good decisions on a football pitch Thought they where the better side and fought more
