Anyone who would turn down £700k a week on the basis that it makes them look a little bit bad is a braver man than I, or indeed Henderson in this case. That is quite frankly silly money, not that footballers aren't paid silly money, but its silly money. I don't begrudge anyone increasing your income arguably 5-6-7 times over. Just ask yourself what changes that would bring in your life and if you would turn it down on the basis of morals. Again you'd be a braver man than I to turn it down.
