    FSG Watch...

The issue is fundamentally this. The stadium isn't big enough, and not withstanding I am happy we stayed at Anfield, I can't help but feel on occasions like this that we should have built a 80k seater stadium we're got waiting lists for 40k+ for Bournemouth at home ffs. Tickets are such a low income revenue stream for the club to the extent of which (this is pre covid) one of the TV deals was so lucrative that we could let everyone in for free and still make the same amount of money. The ticket situation at the club is a rats nest, you've got people who have had season tickets for generations, locals priced out and subject to the gams that simply others don't want to go to, and people who haven't got a cat in hells chance of getting a ticket. Of all the things the club should be doing, increasing prices isn't it because it'll make f*** all difference
  2. So we know they've been meeting the DCMS and threatening all sorts if the punishment is severe. I really don't know what would ultimately 'hurt' Man City because I sense there is a much bigger story and ambition at play here if you see what the owners have done. I may be speaking out of turn, and using wishful thinking but I don't think they care too much about what has happened before. For example if they were stripped of trophies they had won I think on one level they'd just ignore it in their own records, as would their fans. Relegation does hurt them however, and years out of Europe would really massively impact the branding and I think that is what they ultimately want to avoid. They can't take the Aguero moment off them, they've lived it, experienced it and it doesn't really matter if it's taken off them. I expect 1. Titles stripped 2. Huge Fine 3. Transfer ban Disclaimer: I want the trophies owed to us and want Iago Aspas on a bus in town.

One thing is for certain that we've started to do, or be more public about things that at the very least raise eyebrows since the announcement of his leaving. Including the documentary, multi-club approach and now the academy's in Saudi.

  8. A few things really stuck with me yesterday 1. I really want Danns ahead of Gakpo 2. I thought Bradley struggled when he came on 3. Nunez was anonymous 4. We missed Konate.

  10. Get the Disney Animatronics group to develop a larger scale fist that appears from the Kop at the end of every win and goes up and down. You could even have the fist entering a red hoop and when it emerges fireworks come out of it.
  11. Sorry for being a s***house but I don't want this. They could stop us winning the league and staying up.
  12. I really don't think there is an obvious candidate. I do however the three people I would be happy with are 1. Alonso 2. Postecoglu 3. Zerbi As a slight aside I would genuinely be camping outside Guardiola's house by the way. Because why the f*** not
  13. I do feel sorry for him now. I mean not overly sorry but at the first chance he got out of there. He was badly advised He put himself on a pedestal that he didn't need to go on and betrayed the people that he supported more than others I feel betrayed in the sense that I really really really really loved Henderson, and his legacy at the club is tainted all for 6 months of absolutely nonsense on his part. I hope in time he can come back to the club and get a good reception, because he led the team to a level of success we've not experienced in decades.
  14. Hate to have arguments from 10 years ago, but here we are.
  15. The reason we never won the league under Gerrard was exclusively Rafa Benitez' fault, because it was never about Gerrard it was about Rafa Benitez.
  16. He's got out of there in 6 months.
  17. I am struggling to think of a period of 6 months of activity that can completely destroy the legacy of 10 years of being arguably one of the clubs greatest ever captains. Whilst I am tempted to say f*** him, the fact he's left as quick as he has shows 'some' contrition and you should theoretically applaud someone for righting a wrong.
  18. I always wanted Gerrard to do well after he left us, that Chelsea slip is etched in my mind and I remember everything about that day. There is a weird ill will towards Gerrard, I'm not saying that I have agreed with his decisions since he left Liverpool, or indeed think he will have the capability to manage us one day, but I really hoped he would because I'm a football romantic and I am desperate for him to get a league medal as manager with us. I thought the starts had aligned on that day Villa went 2-0 up...but alas
