The issue is fundamentally this. The stadium isn't big enough, and not withstanding I am happy we stayed at Anfield, I can't help but feel on occasions like this that we should have built a 80k seater stadium we're got waiting lists for 40k+ for Bournemouth at home ffs.
Tickets are such a low income revenue stream for the club to the extent of which (this is pre covid) one of the TV deals was so lucrative that we could let everyone in for free and still make the same amount of money.
The ticket situation at the club is a rats nest, you've got people who have had season tickets for generations, locals priced out and subject to the gams that simply others don't want to go to, and people who haven't got a cat in hells chance of getting a ticket. Of all the things the club should be doing, increasing prices isn't it because it'll make f*** all difference
