No complaints from me. They are the best side that we’ve faced over two games for a very very long time, and the best side that’s come to Anfield for equally a very very long time. Didn’t deserve to go through but couldn’t fault the effort. -

The issue is movement Danns would give more, I think he’s proven to have a natural composure and there is an element of flogging a dead horse. Really unsure where Darwin gets his goals.

I think the aftermath could be the making of us. Not withstanding Slot’s red card was dubious. The level of passion at the end was palpable and we’ve not shown that (and its been to our benefit) really since Klopp. If we channel everything the right way I’m very clear we’ll be fine. The aftermath wasn’t a head loss, it was a big f*** you and that’s fine. -
