  1. We lack fluency as he did for all of last Sunday. I’d like us to to find fluency soon and certainly before next week. Think it’s just something that clicks and unclicks and is the one thing that modern data boffins can’t quantify.
  2. Darwin will almost certainly score the goal that wins the title in a few short months. Probably followed up by the winner in Munich.
  3. 1.27 to 0.4 on xG for us We have been the better side, we are the better side. Just need to create cleaner chances ans press them for God sake in the second half.
  4. Trent as bad as I’ve ever seen him. Really missing Szobo energy.
  5. Szobo’s pressing energy could be a miss as that’s where they are weakest. Also a bit of a blow that none of Casemiro, Eriksen, Evans or Anthony start. But our front three should destroy that defence.
  6. What’s the weather actually doing now? Rain?
  7. We’re now 1/4 with Arsenal 6/1
  8. The nature of modern football and it’s staggered kick-offs, other team’s wins feel like defeats.
  9. Anyone else getting worried about Forest?
  10. We had 14 clear chances. Nine or ten wasn’t out of the question. They had 3 or 4 at a push, mostly when complacency set in. Diaz was unreal for the last goal. The movement from left wing to the right was a hybrid of ballet dancer and sniper and the finish undeniable.
  11. Seven teams have beaten them. The likes of Palace and Bournemouth have shut them up.
  12. While I fundamentally disagree with the concept of statement wins I feel we need a statement win. We need a win. We need a win with a calm and controlled performance. We need a win where the points are sealed halfway through. With Arsenal and Chelsea hanging around, we need a win to re-establish our lead before there’s any talk of a slump. Having said that, I’d be more than happy with a 97th minute winner in a 6-5 going in off Joe Gomez’s a***.
  13. Would be ecstatic with a scratchy 1-0 but would be nice and good for my nerves to have one straightforward going through the gears 2 or 3-o wins for the first time since I don't know when. Not sure that is possible against this Spurs though.
  14. Not that it matters a jot, but our chances of winning have gone up after the weekend according to the "Opta Super Computer" https://theanalyst.com/2024/12/who-will-win-the-premier-league-title-opta-2024-25
