I'd keep most of the squad. The ones I would move on would be: Doni/Jones (one or the other, nor arsed which) Aurelio Carra Downing Adam Maxi Henderson (on loan) Shelvey (on loan) Carroll Kuyt I'd bring back Aquilani and Joe Cole, they certainly won't be as bad as some of the above.

It's not that Kenny rested the key players. That was absolutely the right thing to do. But the players he started today are all squad regulars; they have played their fair share of games this season. Yet they played like amateurs. Fulham outplayed us at home. They may not have dominated us but they out-passed us, created more chances and could've scored a few goals whereas we barely had a shot worth talking about. That is unacceptable and it's obvious there are a few players in the squad that can't play without being babysat by an established players. These players need to grow up fast if they want to hang around. We do not have the time to wait for them to mature, we need to be challenging every season and quite frankly, we have wasted a number of years already waiting for things to happen at the club.

Fair enough, he's got some ability but really shouldn't be starting games. Think I preferred it when Kenny was brining him on as a sub in seemingly every game. Assuming we strengthen the midfield in the summer I expect Shelvey to be farmed out again next season or play a bit part role here.

Even discounting tonight's result the final was always going to be very, very difficult. I can't quite believe the impact Di Matteo has made but he's really turned Chelsea into a side you'd rather not play. It's going to be a long afternoon but we have the players to nick it like we did in 2001.

Agree that he's overrated. Not good enough for Liverpool. Well, not a Liverpool side that wants to challenge for the top 4. But good enough for the current mid-table Liverpool team.

Utter rubbish performance tonight. I've never hidden the fact I'm not a fan of his but to me he's stealing a living at our club. He just seems to do the bare minimum that is required of a footballer and you get people on here saying rubbish like "he's going to be a proper player" as if he's showing all the hallmarks of being a f***ing Xavi. He's no better than Spearing, that is a fact, yet you don't have people saying Spearing is going to be a top player. Henderson is just about average for a Premiership player and unless he shows us something that he's never demonstrated before in his career at Liverpool, he will be considered a ludicrous waste of money, like the other expensive clowns we've bought this season.

WBA have won before at Anfield but prior to this season it was around 40 years since their previous win. Kenny has some unwanted records against his name this season.

Henderson, Spearing and Shelvey look like boys against men out there. We have no shape and are sloppy, and we miss leadership from Gerrard, Suarez etc. And is Demebele any good or does he only play well against us?
