  1. You just KNOW these despicable mancs are going to win this one! Stoke have had the chances and ManU are under the cosh but they will find a flukey winner.

Agreed. I'm concerned with Luis' reactions to being subbed. Not for the first time he's thrown a hissy fit. Kenny shouldn't be antagonising the fella for no reason. When he's playing well he should stay on, it didn't make sense taking off our best player. With Luis and Gerrad both on the pitch it would've increased our chances of killing off the game. But we were hanging on a bit at the end.

Adam went missing big time in the 2nd half, as did Hendo. Kuyt came on and looked 10 times more effective than young Hendo. Very concerned with the way we were hanging on in the 2nd half, at home to Wolves. They're a workmanlike team yet they were pinning us back at times as if we were playing Barcelona. Gerrard looked sharp and hopefully he'll be fit enough to start games now. Suarez looked majorly pissed off when subbed, not for the first time. Hopefully this just minor petulance and not anything to be concerned with.

Gerrard on! But he replaces Suarez, the only threatening player we've had today.

Suarez is mesmerising Wolves with his footwork, sublime footballer

Need Gerrard and Bellamy to come on soon, Wolves are getting back into this.

    Agonisingly close from Suraez again.

Hunt is such a dirty b*****d, always has been. Someone who takes pleasure in injuring opposing players I think.

    Great stream, thanks!
  13. Well done City. Everton will be devastated - not for picking up zero points but because ManU's chances of winning the title went down ever so slightly. Chelsea vs Swansea - Torres starts. Fancy him to score in this one.

Not too happy to see Maxi and Bellamy miss out. Poor Maxi doesn't even make the bench. I wish Kenny would start selecting players on merit rather on the basis we spent big money on them, because right now I would say Spearing should be ahead of Hendo, Maxi ahead of Adam and Bellamy ahead of Carroll.

  16. Kuyt!
  17. Vicente playing for Brighton? Crazy. Brighton have been dominating this half, we need to step it up.
  18. Are the Brighton fans chanting "Seig Heil"? Who do they think they're playing, Spurs?
  19. Wowser, what a hit from Bellamy! Unlucky not to score.
  20. Luis should've scored that one. Not a ruthless finisher is young Suarez, but a fantastic footballer.
  21. If he goes on to achieve great things with the rent boys the miss will be forgotten. A manc blert sent me a link to a youtube vid for a match between Liverpool and Man U back in the 70's, Kenny missed an absolute sitter in the game (as bad as Torres' miss!) but who remembers that? Great players aren't remembered for things like that. Mediocre players are, e.g. Ronnie.
  22. And for scoring the winning goal in the Euro Championships final for Spain.
  23. Defo agree with this. It's just that Macca's best lasted for around 4-5 seasons while Giggs is still going (relatively) strong. Giggs also benefited from playing in a much better team.
  24. Owen has become nothing more than a Carling Cup player for the mancs. How embarrassing for a player who was once so highly regarded. If he had any shame he would go elsewhere to play regular football. Great players have often gone to 'lesser' clubs in their twilight years to play regular football and have made a success of it (my favourite example is Roberto Baggio, he was sensational for the less famous names he played for in his later years). Owen would rather be a reserve at ManU.
  25. Flanno is still very, very raw, Bale would have ripped him a new one. That would've wrecked the lad's confidence. Flanno is a decent young player but no more. He is a long way from being a regular for the club and I have my doubt whether he will still be here long-term. He's okay defensively but offers nothing going forward, which is a big problem when your full-backs can't overlap and provided attacking support. I agree with Kenny's decision to start with Skrtel ahead of Flanagan, even after what happened yesterday.
