Kuyt's not a midfielder either. It's more of an attacking mid/forward role.

I think Carroll is a really good finisher with his left boot. Because of his size and heading ability I think his shooting is overlooked some times. It's odd that we haven't created too many chances for him to bang it in with his left peg. We need to stop playing the ball too direct, if we play it to feet Carroll will start sticking them away.

Dave is sound, I pop over to TLW to read his match reviews which are really good. But some of the people on TLW are a bit unhinged, and there was almost a hate campaign against Rafa in his final season on that forum which I found pretty disgusting.

What I mean is that if he falls with a minimum of contact it's not too bad. If the player gets the man and not the player then the player is entitled to go down. However he doesn't need to go down holding his leg like he's been shot or making a silly face as if he's actually in agony. That's play acting. And it looks stupid and doesn't get you an advantage, it only make a villain of the player doing it.

I don't mind him 'diving' as such, i.e. making the most of any contact. My objection is his reaction to fouls which is just ott.I hated it when Drogba and the like do it so I'm not going to suddenly like it or endorse it just because one of our own is doing it.

Luis is a sensational player but his play-acting is beginning to bug me. He doesn't need to do it. I don't think he's a serial diver which a lot of opposition fans accuse him of (certainly no worse than most) but he does exaggerate fouls and rolls around crying which I don't like. Think Kenny needs to have a word with him before there's a full scale media witch hunt against Luis - which will influence refs in not giving him any decisions.

We have been poor, it would have been unjust to be winning. But ffs Kuyt should've just banged that in. We defo need to bring Gerrard and Bellamy on in the 2nd half. We have been toothless in attack.

You can't have a Barca style formation with Kuyt and Carroll in the team. They're good players but they don't play the game in the tippy-tappy, tika-tac-toe or whatever the Barca style is called. And Gerrard would get bored stiff of passing the ball around 200 times around the box without taking a long range shot whenever in range.

When will he show us his mercurial gifts? Until he's ready for the team he should make way for someone else. The team shouldn't be carrying anyone, and Henderson has been a passenger so far.

Henderson does not have any of these attributes either. If he has, he certainly hasn't shown them yet for Liverpool.

He's better than Henderson and didn't cost us a penny.

Maxi Lucas Gerrard Downing I wouldn't have Henderson in there, honestly I wouldn't even have him on the bench. I'd take Spearing over him every time. Adam would be a useful option to bring off the bench, but shouldn't be a starter for me.
