Ferguson's 25 years at Man U is getting more publicity than the Queen's jubilee did. The BBC have been particularly cringeworthy in their overzealous praise for a man who holds them in such contempt. It's like the BBC are almost thanking Ferguson for ending his boycott by giving him round the clock praise. One video on the BBC website almost made me puke with their sycophantic, gushing celebration of his 25th year in charge of the mancs. Embarrassing stuff. Edit: darn, the title got f***ed up. I don't think it helps his confidence to be played out of his position where he doesn't perform. He plays his best in the centre, and alongside Lucas and Adam (in a midfield of 3) he should have enough support to perform to his best. With Gerrard out I really hope we see him in the centre.

I wish he gets a run of games going now. If he starts playing like the care-free Newcastle striker of last season he'll be superb for us.

To be honest so far I've been underwhelmed by him considering his price tag but I see potential for him to be top player. Like Carroll and Downing he was playing better last season but he'll take time to adjust. And I don't think it helps that Kenny plays him out wide, he's a central midfielder and that's where he should play. With Stevie out for a while Hendo needs to play alongside Adam and Lucas to show us what he can really do,

Liverpool is too much of a step up for him. He's never looked anything other than a mid-team player. He wasn't exactly dazzling at 'boro and Villa so his performances are not surprising.

Gervinho's been a good signing for Arsenal. He looks odd with that comb-over of his but he looks very handy.
