    Kenny

I don't begrudge Swansea a point, we were awful and they played well. But we definitely should have beaten Sunderland, Norwich, and especially those f***ing mancs at Anfield. We'd be sitting pretty if we did. But our away performances (barring Spurs) gives me a massive amount of confidence. We are still a work-in-progress and Kenny is close to getting it right.
  3. Think the time has come for Carra to take a backseat. He'll remain a great option but for me, Skrtel (or Kelly) and Agger should be our main centre backs - providing Agger can stay fit!
  4. I'm reading about rumours that he didn't really want to leave and that it was his agent forcing a move through. Think that's rubbish myself, he was a sulking little c*** towards the end of his time with us, his head was clearly turned by Chelsea and he genuinely believed he'd be better off there. I'm pleased to see him struggling.
  5. When he's playing against you he's the most loathsome individual in the game. But when he's in your team you can't help but to love the guy. If every single member of our squad played with his level of tenacity and determination we'd be champions. We also look so much better with him up front along with Suarez.

    Kenny

Kenny must be tearing his hair out when comparing our home and away form. Had we beaten Swansea, Man U and Norwich we'd be in 2nd place and within touching of City. But Kenny played a blinder today, a great result.
  7. Houllier didn't have any excuses but Rafa was up against a far better Chelsea team. This current Chelsea team doesn't compare with the side Mourinho had.
  8. The highlights have been utter w***.
  9. He's a weirdo, he gives a really creepy vibe when giving interviews. Anyone else find him somewhat unsettling to listen to?
  10. A great result. We didn't play that well and were quite poor in the 2nd half but we soaked up the pressure and scored a great winner. Delighted with that.
  11. GLO JOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!
  12. Oh Kuyt, ffs....
  13. Why Bellamy? FFS, take off Luis instead he looked knackered
  14. They're all over us now
  15. Oh f*** off
  16. We look so much more fluid up front with Bellers and Suarez.
  17. Will this f***ing ref let us win? I doubt it.
  18. MAXI!!!
  19. f*** off ref, Lucas gets booked by the Chelsea team
  20. Ridiculously good footballer. He'd be worth £50M in today's market.

  22. Not even FIFA are so stupid to as to agree to play a world cup bang in the middle of the Middle Eastern summer. It will most certainly be a winter world cup. One positive is that it won't give England any excuses. Every summer tournament the media claim the England players are suffering from fatigue after the long domestic season (doesn't affect Spain, Holland, Italy, France etc. though...) so with this tournament being held mid season our boys should be in tip-top form, shouldn't they?
  23. Gambit

    Gerrard

Stevie will be 32 in April/May (f*** me time flies), he can't take too many more injuries at this stage of his career. I hope he packs in England duty after the Euros.
  24. This is a disgusting smear campaign against Luis. The media have vilified him from day one, largely due to the World Cup where the English media slavishly supported Ghana because they were the only African nation left after the first few rounds and for what Luis did against Ghana. I'm disturbed by the way he is being treated and I don't think I'm being paranoid to suggest the English media, supporters of other teams and certain managers are trying to drive away our best player. We need to come out in complete defence of Luis and come out fighting against this smear campaign against one of our own. But what chance have we got against the media and Ferguson, and the head of Man U who also chairs the FA? Absolutely none.
  25. Hence why it's going to be a disaster, i.e. every major European league has domestic games that are played in the winter! This especially affects England where there is no winter break.
