Selling Suarez would be madness. Who do we rely on then to make things happen? Andy Carroll? Do me a favour. The biggest problem Suarez has is that he doesn't have enough support from the rest of the team because most of the players in the team are not in his level. We also don't seem to know what to do with him and where to play him. We need to buy more players like Suarez, not sell them. And if he goes who will replace him? Look at the type of signings DC and Kenny have made. Flat footed, slow, uninspiring British footballers - the total opposite of Suarez. That's the sort of mediocre domestic player we will buy to replace him. Maybe Bobby Zamora or the like. No thanks.
Seconded. He gets rave reviews from people here but I don't know why. If we want to be a mid-table team then players like Downing, Henderson and Adam are perfect for us. If we want to be playing in the Champions League an challenging for the title again then we need a lot better than the likes of Henderson.
United are going to win the league, I don't know why so many thought City were going to do it with their first ever title challenge. They don't have the experience or the nerve to stay the course. I think they'll win it next season after spending another £200M but this season United are going to beat them to it sadly.
I see there's still a few of us hankering after Torres. He's NOT coming back, and thank f*** for that. Had we replaced him with an actual goal scorer and not a clown like Carroll nobody would be pining for Torres. Selling Torres was still a brilliant bit of business, it's just a shame we blew the money on a hopeless replacement which is causing some fans to regret the sale.
Wolves are going down. Steve Morgan that utter clown though it would be a good idea to replace an experienced manager like McCarthy with a novice. Connor comes across as a nervous guy with no air of authority whatsoever. But I guess Morgan wanted to get the kudos from the FA and co for giving a black manager a chance. Looks like they will regret that decision.
Whether he was good or bad for the few mins on the pitch is irrelevant. It's just shocking that a striker we've paid £35M for is on the bench at all. He's not injured or unfit, it's because the manager doesn't think he'll be as effective as other strikers. Surely we could have signed someone a lot better for that sort of money? Baffling transfer.
Sorry but most have been dreadful. Carroll, Adam, Downing, Henderson, cost us around £80M and all have been rubbish. And we all knew they'd be like this but we kept our mouths shut because we didn't want to criticise Kenny.
Adam was a joke signing. No top club was after him but given our transfer policy of signing overpriced, sub-standard British players it's no surprise we were the mugs that signed this clueless, Rangers reject.
I'd be disappointed in Rafa if he chose to go to the rent boys. He should know he'll end up the same as AVB unless he does a drastic overhaul of the squad and Roman doesn't seem to want his favourite oldies like Terry and Lampard to be sacrificed. Rafa is guaranteed to be sacked by Chelsea - as is every manager that will go there while the Russian is around. Rafa would be far better off at Spurs. If Harry Redknapp can take them up to 3rd then Rafa can turn them into title contenders.
