One of the things that irritated me about Rafa was his methodical approach to 'control'. On the occasions he let the team of the leash they would invariably batter the opposition. Instead we were never the attacking force we could and should have always been with the players we had. There were so many goals in his team but they rarely were ordered to go out, gung-ho and annihilate the opponents the way Demento tells his teams to do. The trouble with this current team is that there are no goals in here. We could be the best attacking side in the world and still not score more than a few a game. Suarez is our best hope for goals and he's only got 12 in total. That's not good enough and we badly need to add a few goal scorers in the summer. Even Newcastle have us comfortably beat in that department and we supposedly bought their best goal scorer.

What exactly does Comolli do for getting paid millions by the club? If he was identifying total unknowns and turning them into top players I would give him some credit. Instead all that he's done is bring in players we all know about, and that we know aren't that good, and not only that but he spent ridiculously inflated fees for them. And now after his crazed spending spree he's telling us we don't have much money left to spend this summer.
