  1. I hope he tells City to stick it up their hoop.
  2. How do you stick someone on ignore?
  3. I don't get why we'd f*** Nani off...
  4. Exactly. He better be the overpriced c***...
  5. English press in over reaction after england fail spectacularly at a major tournament shcoker. It's what they do. I remember United fans spacking over spunking 10 million on some lad who was playing non league football a few years ago, and hadn't even got himself in the Fulham side. When he had he looked a bit like bambi on ice and scored 2 own goals. What have we done?...what a waste of our funds!...this should be going to sort out! Has Fergie lost his mind what the...f***. He looks the business this kid. Henderson's fee is double (it's probably actually nowhere near double). He's also played in and impressed in well over double the amount of premiership games.
  6. What's trendy is all that matters for them. We're talking about it here and now so they've done their job I suppose. The first mistake Jones makes, the first bad run Henderson has, the first game Boas loses... It's just bandwagon jumping.
  7. They're bellends. Apart from the fact nobody has any idea whether it actually is 20 million. Kinell I sound like a Liverpool fan defending him here but... He's a gamble no doubt...but so are most signings. They're running out of s*** to write about.
  8. That would have happened based on whatever big club he joined. Liverpool are a big club last time I checked...so it was always going to be scrutinised. No different if he'd gone to Chelsea, Arsenal or United. He's in the spotlight now. If he can handle it he will make one hell of a player imo
  9. Telegraph must to better. Two of which are Atkinson signings he inherrited. One a Youth team player that didn't make it. One a loan signing to cover for injuries we didn't take an option on. Milne who cost pittance. I take your point that he's signed duds, that much is obvious. His team have won everything in sight for that last 2 decades, and he's done it by rebuilding the side numerous times. I don't think that takes away what Dalglish has done. As said I think we all feel our own teams are harshy dubbed by the media.
  10. The question still stands... We don't take the media seriously at the best of times in football...why now?
  11. I lasted a week. It was a good run.
  12. The newbie is still getting used to this place
  13. In the course of 20 years you're going to get some wrong. Show me a manager who hasn't. He's been successful in his time at United no? Therefore he'll do for me when it comes to player selection. Wasn't Kenny after Jones as well...both have eyes for talent, both have made good signings IMO.
  14. It's only a description of how the media operate, one I happen to agree with. The way I look at it Kenny Dalglish is far more qualified to spot a quality player than a journo is...or any of us are. Ferguson has done it a long time and it's hard to argue with his record over the years.
  15. It's not a love in...as much as it's just logical. Course Dalglish is not a no mark. He has had a significant time away from management mind. Kenny has come back in and helped sort an almighty f***ing mess, and FWIW will continue to take the club forward. He has nothing to prove to Liverpool fans, and something to prove to the media. That being said, based on most of what I read on and off season it doesn't matter a f*** anyway. The fact most of these f***wits couldn't hash an inch of column together without droning into cliche or spacking around with 'speculation from an inside source' should show it up for being what it is. We all think we're hard done by in the press Nate.
  16. Hard to argue with any of that.
  17. Engineer, but it feels like a funeral parlour... Management wanted to know what I found so hysterical. They were not as impressed as I. I have found out one of my favourite twitter feeds is a scouse creation mind...bah.
  18. Pretty good article that. Given time and patience I think Henderson could turn out to be a quality signing.
  19. Not as much of a replacement as an option. I think Nani struggles on the left personally. No coincidence that his best form came when he was on the right. Valencia, Nani and Young battling for starting berths is top in my book. Only if we sign a quality centre midfielder mind.
  20. Whoever it is lads, I tip my hat. It's nothing short of genius. I've been in hysterics over it at work...which has not impressed the management at all.
  21. United and Liverpool fans are far more similar than we like to admit for a number of reasons. Seems a decent place this with some top lads who know their football on the most part...so gets the thumbs up from me Something about him screams he has some class. Some said the same about Valencia for example regarding doubt he could make the step up. Thing is with Adam he has been used to being almost automatic first choice every week...wonder how the added pressure might be on his shoulders. That being said I think he could be moulded into a really really quality footballer at a high level. He needs to stop going to Greggs mind.
  22. I've been reading this Big Sam stuff for ages, Is this the work of one of you lot??
  23. I'd have f***ed him right off out of it. Not saying mine are many better mind.
