What's the story here then? He's a massive massive c**k. He never watched/listened to football until the premiership days...the tool. He said somewhere (perhaps his book, HIS BOOK???? FFS) that his favourite player was Van Basten...despiteonly having watched him on youtube a couple of times...might have been Al who told me that.

Essentially your saying Milner would do the same job for you as Young has done for us. Doesn't improve on what we have, but is another option in the squad. Only I think the latter is a far better playing. Milner was at his level (imo) at Villa. Not sure he'd be the player you want. Cahill is a quality, no nonsense centre back for me.

Exactly. If folk are crying out for a natural winger I can't see why Milner would be an option. Lennon would be a decent signing to be fair...but peanuts it wont be.

I've always thought Milner looks a duck out of water when he's played wide. He looks more of a player centrally...which is where he played for Leeds wasn't it? Or has my memory gone in my advancing years?

If we get nasri I'll be most pleased, still don't quite see it mind. We've bought Young...he's another option but no improvement on Nani and Valencia. Jones is not for the immediate future in my opinion, so wont make an impact early on. De Gea is going to take time to settle and make plenty of mistakes as a young un.

We've only spent 50 Million... We should still have 30 left from the Ronaldo deal If we haven't spent it all on buying the league, bribing officials blah blah blah Truth is we need to stengthen..but whether this money is being spent responsibly for the long term is another issue. And to be f***ing fair we still haven't bought in the one area (bar in the sticks) we really need to invest a serious wedge.
