I think he can only get better, there is a fair bit of talk of him making the move into the holding role in midfield, but the risk is run that he becomes an O Shea utility player. Which, given his talent at the back would be strange for me. If Smalling continues his improvement it could be some pairing. I don't see where the row was given the release clause was met... Series of contrary reports that go from 16-22 million. Not sure we'll ever know for sure to be fair. -

Phil Jones looks the nuts to me. Since he hit the scene he has shown a composure and an ability that you might not expect from a 19 year old with so little experience at the top level. Impressed with how he reads the game as well at such a young age. All that being said it was a a great bit of management giving the likes of Flanagan/Kelly a good run out at the end of the season. I think he'll be a talent. Not so sure about Shelvey and I've been impressed with Spearing in places. Solid enough. -
I agree to an extent, but you don't get that many that wrong and be as good as he is. I'm sure he's meant more than a few.
