I agree with parts of your previous posts that if Madrid come in for you and you've been at a club for 7 years etc, etc. But I think that Owen strung us along for the best part of last season and that is not the actions of a man who cares about Liverpool. I'm also aware, that as a few other posters have said, that most of this is pure speculation and that we will need to wait until Wednesday before this really pans out. Bat as things stand, I'm with Scot on this until proven right or wrong.

Granada Reports are going to lead with the story tonight and are trying to get Mr Johnson on the line to talk to him. Fingers crossed.

Neil has a very good point - an angry outburst will leave him with the opinion that the article was correct in the first place.

Just spoken to our Newsroom at Granada Television and they are going to (hopefully) run with this story tonight (Friday). They are in the process of finding out who wrote this story and calls are being made as we speak. I'll let anybody know if there is anymore news on this.
