WBR being a trunk road makes extending the Kop a total non starter. The extra millions it would cost to divert it after all the different agencies have had their piece makes adding 5000 cheap seats something that will take many many years to pay itself back. There is honestly more chance of the club buying up Skerries Road (where the houses are all nicely done up) to rebuild the Kemlyn and that is a tiny chance as it is. We'll be at 58k for quite some years. £40 a pop ticket x 5000 x 20 games a season is about £4million. If it wasn't for WBR it might be possible but i just don't see it as a sound investment. That's without factoring in the transport infrastructure costs that going over 60k will apparently entail.
