    He's miles better Pedro numbers might not be there yet, but he's a potential elite player, massive, great on the ball skillful etc. Massively rated in Brazil as well. Kluviert is some also ran on a hot streak.

    Looks good to me. Bit greedy yesterday but you can forgive that in this instance. The two footedness is something I like, but I did recall him being a bit faster back in the day (but that happens to us all).

    I think Newcastle wanted Quansah initially (pretty sure Pearce reported this) and we said no, but were willing to negotiate with Gomez. He was absolutely incredible in the city game.

    The drop of this season has been quite alarming. The fact it was reported we declined him in a Gordon swap deal with Newcastle is also worrying on reflection. Hes also 22 which I think was the same age as when Konate arrived. The difference in levels is stark. Bradley (who I have harped on about) is also looking distinctly below average but I think that's just one of those things, rather than an ability issue (hopefully).

    So you want another six as good as Gravenberch? Or a six that isn't and will just sit on the bench same as Endo? Saying midfield is a problem is just silly. Do we have the best squad in the league? Most people would say we have. So what is the panic.

    Do they all get games? Also there is one six position. You sign Zubimendi for example, and hes just waiting for one position. In the summer. What about now. Doesnt slot rate Endo? I am seeing him feature more and more. You are stating opinion as fact.

    But we have Gravenberch who is better than Zubimendi. Maybe they didnt realise this was an option in the summer. If we signed someone now, there is a real possibility they dont even make the match day squad. Its just a non argument outside of left back. In fact its nothing but crying it in to suggest otherwise. The only thing we can bemoan is the contract situation, as the squad is the strongest in our history.

    We also have three left backs - Joe Gomez is probably the best of the lot. Well its not what I am saying in any way - how have you arrived at that from what I said? We also have Arteta bemoaning our strength in depth. We have the best squad in the league. I agree that we need a better left back option - but I dont think its life or death as we have lost 2 games in all comps currently with the two left backs we have.

    Risk success where exactly. We have two players in every position and only two injuries - neither long term. This is just a nonsensical argument. Saying we could have a better left back is something I would agree with for example - but the risking thing is just wrong.

    This is silly now come on. Bringing in a midfielder to do what exactly? Sit on the bench, because they wont be starting. The risk is people get injured, but that's a risk with every player, squad, club in the world. Saying "we need to sign x y and z incase incase incase" is absolutely ridiculous I'm sorry.

    Well in your opinion he is. You have no idea what the actual plan is at the club - do you really think they are chasing their tail on everything? Maybe they know what they're doing. For example Hughes potted Gary O'Neill to get Iraola in - which has proven to be an excellent decision - but this was subject to widespread condemnation at the time.

    They have scored big in the last two games. That's it Well we also rotated for uefa cup games. I'd say we are much much better than last season.

    Well this is why you aren't in charge of a supercomputer. And I don't think we have seen such leads eroded, and definitely not when we have a team as good as this and no elite challenger behind.
