Exactly this season doesn't happen without Klopp. It also doesn't happen without Slot. Fair play to whoever earmarked Slot for the job. It's been a staggeringly great appointment. I think it would be less toxic if he came out and told everyone he needed a change but he's going to give absolutely everything until then. I think some of it is also to do with the way the season was split with the internationals and us being out of the cups after a terrible week v PSG and then the Newcastle final. It felt really flat. It was only two weeks but it felt like we hadn't played in a month when it resumed and weirdly we've lacked momentum since. Or it feels like we have. Slot's success this season is why there is a lack of peril. It wouldn't feel "dull" if we were only a point ahead with the games we've got left and I'm happy for "dull" if that's what we want to call it. Would not fancy playing Arsenal in a weeks time if there were only a few points in it. No way.
