I'm discrimating on the amount of money being poured into a single club. the league is supposed to be a competition. one club coming in and spending 100m in a season isn't a problem for the league (see spurs!). but to spend 100mill net for 5 years - that distorts the value of the competition. nobody can compete with them on that level- and it won't stop - they'll carry in spending. in that context what we did was a friggin miracle this year. but I don't know if we can do it again. leveling the playing field by either salary cap (which would address the excessive amounts paid to squads) and/or spending limits seems to me to be one of the few ways we can try to even things up a bit. it wouldn't stop huge amounts being pumped into a team but it might limit the excessive amounts over a period of time.

Dish it out but can't take it? not sure what you are on about but if it makes you happy then ok. its all about losses. you win. lfc came 2nd its been a great season. lets all have a beer. city are bells though.

really. or is it about junk sponsorship deals to hide those losses on the books. or cash flow from legitimate sources or overpaying for players or buying the league or creating a level playing field or making stupid statements without any depth.
