the results of his passes are fine - its the style in which he executes them that makes me cringe... the lad looks like he's played rugby all his life and the idea of passing is alien to his body. I'm not saying he can't pass - he's pretty good - but it looks excruciatingly painful when he does it.

he passes with a style that can only be described as "lacking"... but it normally gets to its target... the lad can defend and puts himself around as well. He'll be fine.

he did a pretty good job on Robben but Germany have more than one main threat.. he can't do it all. Messi has to step up a lot and cause enough trouble to keep the midfield from pouring forward like they did against Brasil. Germany look too strong as a team though. -
better than last season? like be available for the whole of it? been a while since that has happened and it doesn't look like happening any time soon...

he is one of the better ones. it helps when he has someone good to bounce off otherwise he ends up filling dead space and start to drone on.. Martinez did a couple of games and put them all to shame though.

I don't think theres any contractual relationship between LFC and FIFA is there? how the hell can FIFA enforce their ban on LFC?? f'ck em - play him anyway.

Its never fine margins when Woy is involved. its a huge gulf between how his teams could play and do play. England were only close to qualifying before the 1st game started... -
they'll throw a few more in to ban him for the rest of 2014 so they can be seen to be tough.

my only concern is the barca link. his wife moved to Barcelona with her family while he was still with Nacional. Whats her family link there? is her family still there? she left to join him in the Netherlands but if her family is still in spain then it could be an influence in getting back there... and Barca are one of the few clubs that could come up with the money for him...
