Have to say, some of the stuff via that link is disgusting and quite obviously were committed by a bunch of braindead idiots who are certainly no genuine Liverpool supporters. Saying stuff about Munich, Best, Shipman etc etc is f***ing sick and I'm afraid these type of individuals who claim to be Liverpool supporters are lowest of the low. Some people will argue they would do the same at Anfield, well as far as I'm concerned thats no excuse, you don't stoop to that level and two wrongs don't make a right. A minority again, have given Liverpool fans on the whole a bad name again from these incidents, no one should be defending the actions of these so called "supporters"

Is that a "5 times" signal from Rafa to our friendly mancs?
-
Agree Cisse came in at the wrong time, at Auxerre the team was build around him, played to his strengths. It was a GH signing, Rafa has come in and wants to see his front men play effectively as a unit. Cisse just hasn't adapted, I do feel sorry for him in some sense but Rafa isn't GH, if GH was still the manager I am sure Cisse would have 20+ goals by now. Mainly because GH built his Liverpool teams around the pace and use of Owen to a certain extent, ideal for Cisse. Morientes despite his shortcomings this season, fits better into our system than Cisse. Cisse is like a square peg in a round hole, he just hasn't managed to metamorphic himself into a round peg!

Yes hes not the most intelligent footballer you ever seen. The lad certainly has the talent but theres certainly something wrong uptop! Toward the end of the game he had the ball and had loads of space to run into, so he decides to launch a long hopeful ball to the opposite end of the pitch and by doing so giving Chelsea back possession. All he had to do was run into the corner and keep the ball down there, for the good of the team. It seems to me, there is a part of Cisse who is really selfish, wants glory for himself and isn't really a "team player". Such a shame really, the lad looked awesome at Auxerre, he showed much promise, but its never come to fruition.

Think it was moreso the element of suprise, I think the Chelsea wall expected a blast so decided to break and charge down the shot. It good to see a variety in our free kicks, instead of just laying it off and hitting it with maximum power. Almost reminds me of Didi's effort against Leverkusen last season. Everyone was expecting Didi to blast it and instead chipped it over the wall into the near post.

Obviously this fella doesn't like to sit down Fans

Like I said, hes missed two easier opportunities than that!! Goes and scores a more difficult chance! Typical Garcia.....Smicer Mark II
-
Well I mean Garcia does the easy things hard and the hard things easy.........just like Vladi!

CL Qualification They have no chance of taking UEFA to court surely? If Arsenal win the Champions League and finish 5th then I'm afraid Arsenal deserve to be back in the Champions League as title holders.

This whole philosophy of having to play great attacking football all the time is a thing that has really kicked in since Sky came onto the screens. A good judgement of this, is through the manc fans who harp on about their team playing "free flowing" football. Any other team who dares to be successful without doing the same as them are accused straight away of being "boring" and "anti-football". Chelsea are getting it now, despite Chelsea scoring more goals than the Mancs, have got a far better goal difference than the Mancs. Even during Houllier's reign when we were successful, the Mancs had a whinge about it. Said we played counter attacking football......excuse me but the basis of the championship winning teams the Mancs had in the 90s was around their ability and effectiveness to counter attack the opposition. Now they are bringing it up again since we won the European Cup. To top it all off, I have heard the Manc fans say from last seasons FA Cup Final, "It was a disgrace for Arsenal to win the FA Cup like that. I would be ashamed as a Man Utd supporter if I celebrated that win" "I prefer to have lost that game in the way we played than win and played the way Arsenal did" Unfortunately its a theme you hear from most Manc fans, particularly the Sky generation of football fans. Winning is all that matters, ok winning in style is an icing on the cake. But the history books won't say if that team played football like Brazil in every game. All it will say is the year, the team and "League Champions" next to it.

Poor Sunderland....Newcastle score again 1-3. Chelsea have an indirect free kick 7 yards out and its blocked. Essien then scores Chelsea 3-0 Everton. Title is good as won for Chelsea.
-
Drogba 2-0 Newcastle score 2 goals in 2 minutes. Sunderland 1-2 Newcastle
-
Comedy defending! Finally they get punished for it.

Definitely an Anfield legend. This club has had alot of great defenders in its time, which isn't an easy thing to follow. Sami deserves to be up there with the likes of Yeats, Smith, Hansen, Thompson etc. Very good at scoring goals on the volley as well, better than the strikers we've had recently.
-
They mentioned during the game that the Mancs away record is exactly the same as Chelsea's. Its their home form that has let them down this season from catching Chelsea. In some respects that doesn't suprise me because the Mancs approach is suited to counter attacking football and so can hit teams on the break with the pace of Rooney and Ronaldo. Whereas at Old Trafford, teams have sat back, meaning the Mancs have struggled to break down teams. This is where that missing influence in midfield comes from. Against Sunderland for example, I'm sure the Manc side of 3/4yrs ago which contained Keane, would of won that game. I don't think they are as strong as the league table suggests and are heavily reliant on Rooney to provide that link between the midfield and attack. Compare us to them, our defence and midfield is better, our only shortcomings is in our strikers.
-
Definitely an undeserved 2-0 lead, the Mancs defence has been shocking and are very fortunate to not have at least conceded one goal. Mancs have kept the ball well but haven't really threatened in front of goal. First goal from a counter attack and the second well was a total gift.
-
Mancs have got away with it so far. Spurs should have scored three goals by now. One counter attack from the Mancs and they score.

New International FA Board Decision 2 The definitions of elements of involvement in active play are as follows: * Interfering with play means playing or touching the ball passed or touched by a team mate. * Interfering with an opponent means preventing an opponent from playing or being able to play the ball by clearly obstructing the opponent?s line of vision or movements or making a gesture or movement which, in the opinion of the referee, deceives or distracts an opponent. * Gaining an advantage by being in that position means playing a ball that rebounds to him off a post or the crossbar having been in an offside position or playing a ball that rebounds to him off an opponent having been in an offside position. Was offside according to that rule.

Leave him alone, hes on a roll! Keep up the good work Charlie!

So a rugby tackle on a player isn't a foul? I think most people on here aren't complaining that the defender "stood his ground" it was due to the defender putting his arms around Morientes and tackling him to the floor, which a rugby player would be proud of. Certainly a case of the defender not playing the ball in this instance but clearly playing the man.
-
Was offside.......though swings and roundabouts, Fowler has had two goals wrongly chalked off this season in similar circumstances.
-
Definite penalty, the excuse by Gray was just laughable. Later on in the game a free kick was given against Alonso after he had the ball played past him. The Blackburn player just ran into Alonso, Gray said that was blatant obstruction, so he wasn't allowed to stand his ground Andy? Can't have it both ways, he was willing for Blackburn to score all game, it was embarrassing.
-
Silly free kick to give away.......Reina got. FT YESSSSSSSSS 1-0! 73 points and 3rd place all but secured bar Goal difference. Thats now 22 clean sheets in the League campaign, gone past the 87-88 team record of 21. Next up is the 78-79 team record with 28 clean sheets, think we'll make it?
-
Linesman having a mare!! Never offside was Kromkamp! Where did they get 5mins from?!
-
5 minutes added time!!!!!!!! Where did that all come from?!!! LOL!! Cisse hit the post!!! How did he miss that? Friedel did well again but that was a sitter.
