  1. Opposition managers need to start calling out the referee before the games against Arsenal to talk about the blatant time wasting.
  2. Free kicks, corner kicks, goal kicks, keeper has ball in their hand, Arsenal take forever to take them. Referees need to do better in counter acting the time wasting.
  3. Arsenal are a good team but their blatant time wasting and faking injuries just makes them a dislikable bunch.

    FSG Watch...

Accurately sums up FSG time at the club. Not to pile on but after the end of this season, Konate, Robertson and Kelleher will all have one year left on their contract.

    FSG Watch...

So here we are, January 1st and three of our best players can now sign a pre contract with another club from abroad. In our history we've seen good/great players leave and we've managed fine. Keegan, Souness, Rush, McManaman, Owen, Alonso, Suarez for example. But I don't think we will be fine if three of our best players all go at the same time. FSG pulled a blinder by hiring Slot but they've f***ed up big time in allowing this situation to develop. These contracts should've been sorted two years ago, to establish their intentions going forward and protect the club by selling them for a hefty fee if no agreement could be made. In my opinion, order of priority for contract signing is as follows: 1) Van Dijk : A Rolls Royce of a player, a leader, solid at the back, this guy makes our entire defence tick. Our defence isn't as good with him not in it. 2) Salah : Our best forward, most assists and goals, his consistency is incredible. He leads by example, has successfully adapted his game to make himself even better. But Salah leaving I think doesn't affect our attack as much as Virgil does with the defence. 3) Trent : Fantastic footballer, has great vision, his passing is one of the best in the game, a Scouser, some of his best years are still ahead of him and I think that is why for most Liverpool fans this one would hurt the most if he is not here next season. I don't know who is ultimately responsible for contract negotiations with the players at the club (Hughes?) but it's getting to a stage here where we need some intervention on these discussions. Henry needs to get involved, he's the head of the club, of course I have no evidence if he has or not. It's just this uncertainty around these three players is casting a dark cloud over our season despite flying high.
  6. Wow, Ipswich with a much needed win. Brings Everton closer to the relegation zone. Surely that's Chelsea out of the title race.
  7. What are FSG playing at?
  8. Bitters only won eight games in all competitions during the calendar year 2024. Must be soul destroying going to watch them week in week out under Dyche.
  9. Aye, give time to assess Gomez, Mo and Virgil get a good rest, Quansah got a few minutes, can work with him to prepare for the next league game while waiting for Konate to come back.
  10. Best performance of the season from start to finish?
  11. Forest are doing amazing, they are certainly in with a big shout of qualifying for the Champions League.
  12. His goal from this angle just shows how good of a finish it was. Was going wide and the bend at the last minute takes it inside the far post. No keeper was saving that. https://x.com/SamueILFC/status/1872423946425135456

    2024/25 Season

If we looked at the teams we've dropped points against in the League, those results right now don't look too bad: Home to Forest - Lost by a goal on the counter attack, 3rd Away to Newcastle - Conceded a last minute equaliser, 5th Away to Arsenal - Nicked a point, 4th (Probably 2nd after tomorrow) Home to Fulham - Down to ten men after 20 mins and 2-1 down, Jota nicks a point, level on points with City, 8th

    2024/25 Season

Well no one expected this. I was expecting a scrap for the top 4. Slot has been incredible, and to be honest I've don't think we've seen the best of this Liverpool team yet. As we head into the New Year it would be nice to hear about some new contracts being signed.
  15. That's been a common theme over the past few years. We dominate the game, have all the ball but the refs seem hell bent on giving us far more fouls and bookings. It's counter intuitive but I'd love to see some of the stats on it.
  16. Come on redmen, kill this game off.
  17. Much better, this is more like it.
  18. Wahhheyy!! That's more like it!
  19. Its going to be one of those games isn't it? Hitting the woodwork galore and it just won't go in for us.
  20. Going to need another Half Time Team talk masterclass from Slot. Can't be relying on just playing well for just 45 mins.
  21. The changes haven't worked, its too easy for Leicester and the players who have come in aren't doing enough for us.
  22. Aye, crossing the ball just plays into their hands.
  23. Yes, very, if we can't beat these, it'll certainly bring doubt back onto our title credentials.
  24. Oh they're trying, not through a lack of effort, I think its more to do with mentality, complacency.
