We've spent more than Arsenal over the last ten years. I do not buy this argument for a second. Good scouting, good purchasing, good management. If we can't build a team with a decent defence after spending many hundreds of millions we ought to be ashamed. And if that is the manager's philosophy, he ought to be ashamed.
