He was absolutely incredible in 07/08. A host of injuries and infighting at Arsenal cost him his form, as it seemed to with Sagna as well, so I'd be willing to give him a shot for the right price. You don't lose talent.

In October, some of us were worried about the club's chances of survival. In comparison, one player asking for a move which will undoubtedly set us up on a spending spree unseen at Anfield before seems pretty irrelevant. We were here before him and we'll b here after him. I wanted Rafa gone for the large part of last season but my God, I'd have given blood and tears to keep him at the club looking at the idiot we replaced him with.

I haven't got a clue about Kenny Huang and CIC, but Ambani is actually kind of smart for the fourth richest man in the world. He wasn't going to buy the club for any amount just 'cause he could so please put that theory to bed. At least one good Red worked on that deal. It was a very real possibility.

NESV came in ten weeks before they eventually bought the club, Ambani expressed interest in buying the club full-out almost a week after Broughton was appointed. As I posted at various points, Ambani's camp always said Broughton was 'shamming' them and 'stitching them up'. Those exact words. As I said, Ambani wanted the club long before NESV came in. Strange, yes, but I certainly don't want to make any allegations here.

I spoke to my friend who has links with the Ambani family today and I clarified the whole situation. Apparently Ambani left the bidding process three weeks before NESV officially lodged their bid out of frustration with Broughton. The camp felt Broughton was delaying a bid and although Ambani has been interested on and off for three years, he will give up the idea totally now. That's all the 'ITK' nonsense I will ever have, just got a few PM's asking me about it. So that's what.
