The issue was people wanted him out just a few months after one of our best campaigns for years, tho I'd say the majority were those who are still waiting patiently for Rafa's return. He got plenty wrong but he also had plenty going against him. Disapointing thing was he didn't get the benefit of the doubt. Think it says more about the short terminism in the game than our fanbase tho. Still a lot to play for this season and we could end up with nothing and no CL. Opinions will change quickly

Still think we dropped a huge ball replacing Luis but good to see some of his signings coming to fruition now they've settled in. Cracking young side we're building.

Always remember going mad to Kenny's equaliser in one of the marathon FA Cup semis against Arsenal in the 80's (think it was 3 replays). Listening on radio, great times.

BR has used him really well. He struggled with the pace at first but it was a great bit of man management to slot him in on the right of a back 3. He'll be much more equipped to move back centrally now.

Not being ultra positive here, just don't think it was littered with really poor performances. It was a physical struggle at times but we kept our heads and wore them down

Can't really fault anyone tonight without being petty, thought we were excellent and look like a top side until we get in front of goal. Just don't think we believed enough to score tonight and lacked that main striker. Raheem is going to be a big star but he's not a clinical striker. Absolutely gutted. -

Ibe looks a bit tasty. Love players who put defenders on the back foot straight away.

It's the myth that he doesn't focus on defensive issues and just sends them out to attack with no strategy that's laughable.
