Great team performance but individually I thought Sturride was superb, some of his hold up play and awareness was top class. He's really maturing into a great player. I like the look of him and Mario up front, with so much variety supporting them from midfield. Defo a pen. -

I thought we did first half, Sterling was breaking through them on the right and Hendo and Studge had two good chances after getting in behind, which is sometimes all you get against a top defence away from home. Second half we laboured but had a few good breaks but lacked the final ball.

Agree, especially with a stop start pre season and so many new players and the World Cup. Think we'll be fine tho, lot of quality in there.

I'm concerned that we're going to have to do a lot of tinkering before we find our most fluid set up. We've lost a huge player and it will take time to gel.

Far too early to be forming any sort of judgements. Pretty much the same side that won a lot of games last season. Don't think we've been that bad going forward, defence looks all over the shop tho.
