Roy Evans was hopeless. If it wasn't for Fowler and McManaman (along with good supporting acts also in their prime such as Rob Jones and Jamie Redknapp) being at the peak of their powers during his time, we would have struggled badly. Luckily for him these players were already at the club. The players he signed were largely rubbish. Paddy being one of his few successes.

I didn't think we'd do as well as we've done when Kenny was appointed. What he has achieved is beyond all expectations I had. It was a huge task especially with the injuries we have been suffering from, key players leaving etc. Nobody else could have done it. Well done Kenny, now looking forward to the next 3 seasons with an optimism I haven't had for a while.

I like it too and I'm not suggesting we "remove" it as some people have implied. But it would be nice to have a song for Kenny too (FoAR doesn't really count).

Why is religion so significant to these clubs? I don't think there's anything else quite like it in the world. All other football rivalries are based on largely regional squabbles, Scotland is the only place on earth where religion fuels club rivalries. All the more peculiar is that the religious/political fallout from the troubles in Northern Ireland should play out in Glasgow. I doubt the Irish clubs are as fussed with this Protestant/Catholic/Loyalist/Republican crap as much as these jocks are.

I don't mind upsetting a few Torres lovers and make no apologies for being a crass c*** when it comes to those players who stabbed the club in the back. Mascherano, the detestable Argie midget, Torres the Spanish tranny and Owen the poisonous little toad can all get f***ed. Or in the very least, booed and jeered when they return to Anfield.

I've believed for a long time that the European countries need to withdraw from FIFA. Without the money, support, commercial activities, etc. Europe provides, FIFA would collapse. The idea that world football is run by some tinpot dictator-type figure like Blatter who only gets elected because he practically doesn't allow others to stand against him is just crazy. That we're governed by a bunch of corrupt men hailing from countries that are barely noticed by anyone, countries whose standing in the game is largely mediocre - why are we being ruled by this mob? Europe should go it alone and the rest of the world will realise without Europe there can be no international football federation (i.e. money) and will abandon FIFA to join the new European-dominated organisation.

None of this surprising. Did anyone expect Russia and f***ing QATAR of all countries to win the bid without bribing officials? FIFA are crooked to the core but they answer to absolutely no one so in a sense there's no point in complaining but I think it would be nice to see FIFAs corruption exposed to the world.

Kenny is proving his critics wrong. Especially Newcastle fans who are unbelievably bitter towards him. Even today I've been reading them saying how he's only managed what was expected of Liverpool (to be in the top 5) and how he's going to get found out next season. Silly geordie t***s. They're generally bitter towards us for some reason, they really dislike us whereas we barely give them a second thought. Strange bunch of unimportant idiots.

He was brilliant today. I would keep on the right, it's where he's best. Put Kelly on the left when he returns, I'm sure Kelly would do just as good a job on the left as he's being doing on the right.
