Indeed, fair enough. One of my mates posts match updates on FB every time one of our matches is on and he posts 1-0 without mentioning the team that scored. I then copped that if it was Liverpool that scored, he mentions the scorer as well. Still bugs me that he posts 1-0, even if LFC are at home, and the other team scored. Keep meaning to say it to him at some stage.

They are delighted that Amorim is "telling the truth" rather than pretending the squad is great and "putting it up" to the ownership, who cannot or will not get rid of the deadwood and buy in the players Amorim wants.

I was playing ball with the brothers in law some years back and the ball smacked me straight in the face (nose). After the initial pain settled, I was having issues with my breathing and went to the doctor, and despite my insistence that "something" was wrong they said nothing was out of order, and gave me a nasal spray. Eventually, one of the doctors spotted it, after several visits to the surgery and said I had a "deviated septum", and this did require surgery. Wasn't a major OP (overnight stay) and was back to normal within about a week.

That's my guess. Good player. Surprised he isn't in final list.

I'm a Dub, and mad seeing cops in Connolly station from 9am this morning, but they were on the streets from first thing this morning in the city. Leaving work around 5pm, close to that same station, city seemed quiet. That said, reckon Dublin would be rocking if LFC had been in town. Re the actual footie, shows what Atalanta have?

That sums it up for me really. So, so, frustrating watching those chances spurned. I was watching the United and Palace games with some fans of rival teams (Leeds, Spurs) and some neutrals and almost all of them were just constantly saying "how the f**k did he miss that?" and I just shook my head in disbelief. Doesn't really help if you go a goal down and then your strikers cannot put the ball in th back of the net.

That interview above, he really comes across as bit of a "not nice" man. Can only imagine what the players thought of him.

I know it's all money for these lads but you have to wonder if it ever goes through any of these player's heads that they are joining a total circus? Also, re FFP, it is becoming more and more obvious that the Premier League will not do a tap re financial irregularities and overspending. Chelsea in particular just keep buying players with no scrutiny.
