When you play teams like Bolton I beleive you have to "outBolton" them ie be more physical, more aerial and most importantly want the result more badly than them. We didn't.

Would agree with that. I do think also that Alonso's return to form means Gerrard gets in the game more when hes on the wing as we saw on Saturday

I used to be of the "Gerrard must play in the centre" persuasion. After seeing the Chelsea and Tottenham games I now think differently. As long as he is involved in the play he can dictate the game and it doesn't really matter where he is.
