Are you sure with Spurs? When did they last have a big summer?

Epic, you seem hell bent on just concentrating on the managers position and ignoring the DOF´s job. If the DOF is as quoted, and is as good as people seem to be saying, and if the DOF seems to be a big part of the plan surely the "team" of the 2 and how they work is more important than where Martinez guided Wigan last season. Lots of ifs I know but why not try to be positive and see it as a possibility of moving the club forward. You never know their plan might actually work! For me, I´m not against Martinez as the majority seem to be but I´d still prefer Rafa.

Like I said try looking at the bigger picture and try seeing how the DOF and manager will work as a team rather than just singling out your dislikes and reasons why the manager employed will be all that is wrong with our owners. I´m not saying it will work but our last few league seasons have been very poor so why not change to see whether we challenge again? I´m intrigued and willing to give them a chance.

Exactly the way I see it as well. Looks like they are if the info from Jenkins is true! I reckon the way we should be looking at it is not just who´s our new manager but more looking at the bigger picture and looking at the DOF and manager and see the quality in the team and how they work. Just because its different and not something everyone is used to doesn´t make it wrong or doomed.

How many goals have we conceded since Agger was injured?

Our shots to shots on target stats are abysmal. 21 shots and only 5 on target today compared to 5 and 3 with Villa. Carra was awful despite having little to do and thank goodness Agger is back. Agger and Skrtel have to be starters fro now on. Gerrard should start out right and AC up front with Suarez. At least we´ve hopefully stopped the rot and not lost.

Our tactics are shocking. Our best 2 crossers in the team and I gets taken off whilst the other is shifted to CM when we bring on AC. Our 2 wide players are now Dirk and Bellamy and backing them up are Enrique and Flanners.

The subs have made us worse not better!

On top of that bring Gerrard back inside instead of keeping him wide!
