WTF has our game got to do with how Ferguson would react? How do you know BR won´t do that behind closed doors as he should? Our problem was in the final third and if we´d converted the pen we wouldn´t be talking about Aggers frailities as a defender.

Don´t be an idiot. Shelvey was a poor choice but Hendo deserved to start. For me the first sub should have been just the 1 to start with with Borini on for Shelvey and see how we faired for 15.

We have been seriously poor in the final third. Devoid of ideas with Sturridge not there. No urgency. f***ing crap!

Enrique awful and Shelvey poor and offering nothing. Downing and Hendo having good games but the half has been really scrappy and littered with mistakes.

Hendo Carra Gerrard

How many clubs in the Premiership have the decent quality backups you´re after and hope we find? If they are decent why would they settle for a permanent place on a bench knowing they have very little chance of displacing Reina and the only chances are if he leaves or he gets injured? Jones had a bad game as did the vast majority if not all of the team but previously this season when he´s deputised he has impressed me with his performances.

The team for me was unbalanced. The 11 looked like a 4-2-4. No matter the midfield quality if you´re only playing 2 your going to lose the battle especially as they were always going to be up for a tackle or 2. Jones handling was awful today. His first spill dictated his performance and was shakey. Robinson was garbage but he was playing alongside 2 CB´s who don´t talk enough. Coates looked lost so basically Robinson had no chance. He needed a calm influence alongside him and we didn´t have that! We had no organiser and no leader until Gerrard entered the fray and then we were unlucky but luck against this type of opposition luck shouldn´t be needed. For me todays loss was mainly down to BR and tactics. Wednesday will be different as we´ll line up differently tactically and personnel wise.

Hendo Sturridge Gerrard

McManaman on the bench for Wigan. Reckon he could be better than his co-commentating.

Looks to me like people are expressing an opinion on how he´s performed in the last weeks which has been average, poor, not good enough and crap rather than a stick to use against Rodgers. For me, he needs a rest and Hendo has been playing well enough to command a place a in the starting 11 over him.

Borini was never going to start. I would have preferred starting Sturridge but perhaps he started on the bench due to lack of match fitness. The only problem for me was not starting Hendo instead of Allen who was disastrous today and our game plan 1st half. I was also disappointed with Sterling performance. Perhaps now with Borini and Sturridge he´ll be starting more often than not on the bench as hes due a rest. Thankfully the 2nd half was much better and bodes well for the future the way the front 3 that ended the game look dangerous.

You seriously though we´d finish 4th after last season? Jeez.... we´re a team in transition!!!! 4th is obviously what everyone wants and is what everyone is after but reality must set in and people must realise that this season Champions League is probably beyond us. I´d love and hope the boys prove me wrong but realism is realism. I was reasonably happy with the first half performance and thought after they scored the third our confidence took a hit. Poor Gerrard performance. Poor Shelvey performance. Cole is still crap. Slow passing. Crap finishing and Stoke are Stoke. Horrible team and horrible manager. We need 3 points against QPR.

At least we´ve got rid of the only team in the EPL not to have scored in the last 15 mins. :lol:/>

May have been mentioned already but just seen this on the BBC gossip: New QPR manager Harry Redknapp wants to sign Liverpool's Joe Cole, 31, on a free transfer in January - he has asked the Reds to spend £5.5m paying up the midfielder's current contract. Why would we do this? If we have to pay 5.5m in wages anyway just let him rot in the reserves instead of paying up his contract and letting him play for someone else.

Lucas makes a change. Good to see him back. I was beginning to think we were back to last season with hitting the bar and the post and chances being scrambled away. Still making crap decisions whenever we get in their penalty area but looking good. I do like Shelvey.

I was thinking more of Enrique, Hendo, Johnson, Assaidi, I could go on. They get in the area and they seem dumbstruck. Right I´ve tricked my way here. Now what?

Agree. Out intensity is missing. If we keep up playing more like the second half we´ll start picking up 3 points. In fairness, we had enough chances to win the bloody game. Our decision making in the penalty areas is abymisal.

I thought part of our game plan was possession football and tire the opposition out which in effect means we should be scoring near the end of games no? So why have we got the record of being the only Premiership side this season to not have scored in the final 15 minutes of a game?

I´m hoping people realise Lucas isn´t going to start playing at the same level as when he first got injured and start going on about he´s lost it never going to be the same player crap. He´ll need a few games and his performance levels aren´t going to be instantaneous. Looking forward to having him back.
