Sorry I meant rumours from an earlier post I think from Gunga Din. I mainly agree but he does so well off the last man. Him and AC play well when Big Andy is the one which drops deeper but we need definitely need a 20+ goals a season striker.

I´m fed up with anyone saying we´re going to hit a team for 6 soon with the chances we´ve created or the fantastic display of the opposition keeper. Based on our performances we should have beaten Manure, Stoke, Sunderland and now Norwich. Instead we´ve come away with 3 points instead of 12. We´ve let winning positions slip because of our rueful finishing or lost in the case of Stoke rather than our bad defending or inspired keeper performances. If we finished half the chances we created the bad defending wouldn´t have happened anyway as we would have been cruising or if it had it it would have been a mere consolation for the opposition. My big worry is our continual lack of clinicalness in front of goal. In all that is fantastic about Suarez his finishing is awful for the talent he exudes and seemingly only scores the harder the chance. We need a foil for him someone who´s going to bang in these goals. Owen and Fowler in their pomp would´ve seriously thrived in this team and I´m not sure whether AC is the finisher we need. How true are the back to Newcastle quotes? Would they have him? Do they need him? Yesterdays game showed we should never play Gerrard and Adam in the centre of the park together. Would prefer either Spearing or Henderson alongside one of those 2 whenever Lucas is missing. Personally my first sub after they equalised would´ve have been to bring on Spearing to free up Gerrard more given that 15 mins and brought on AC and Maxi. Thought we lacked movement and for me Maxi is an intelligent player and would have brought that and popped up all over the pitch. Surprised no-ones mentioned how bad Johnson played. Thought his positional sense was bloody shocking and gave nothing down the flank with Downing. Kelly for me should be far and away our no 1 choice at RB. Seriously peeved after yesterdays result and we need to start finishing our chances and start putting more points on the board to fight off the stiff competition from Spurs, the inevitable comeback of Arsenal and the shock early contenders of Newcastle.

Gerrard and Henderson to swap during the game from right sided to centre of the park same with Suarez and AC with one dropping deeper than the other. Downing and Bellamy off the bench and Johnson to bring him up to match fitness if we´re doing well. Don´t think this is a game for Dirk but have in on the bench anyway.

Agree as well. Carra had to be closer. If he doesn´t win it he should be in a place where he can block any flick. The flick took it across the middle of the goal so any onrushing player or an unlucky defender could put in the back of the net. Don´t see how Skrtel was to blame.

Erm why? Should never have said anything about either of them and kept the problems in house. Bad management but good to see they are starting to have problems already.

Nah. He´s was peeved to be brought off. No problem with that. Wasn´t aimed at Kenny or anyone just annoyed in my book. Passion is always good to see as long as he´s not disrespectful and give a mouthful to Kenny for the decision.

I agree with it. Made sense. Gerrard to play in the hole behind AC and drop back if need be and AC to hold up the ball with Kuyt and Downing joining in when not on defensive duties. I also suspect Suarez was knackered after running his balls off all game. Have to take care of him whenever possible and not run him into the ground tho liked the fact he was peeved. I expect the game plan was Gerrard for Suarez after around 60 if we were still winning by a 2 goal margin. In any case, we won so defo the right sub.
