Yeah I remember watching us at the end of last season with players popping up all over the park. The opposition found it hard to play against us as we had so many runners and as a result we found more space and easier chances were created and finished whereas now we seem to be pretty much a predictable 4-4-2 with lack of movement and intelligent running and hoping for a magic moment from Suarez to score a goal out of nothing. Our 4-4-2 or 4-5-1 when defending needs to be more flexible when attacking. Also, like to point out our solid defence and give credit to Agger and Skrtel since Carra got injured. In 225 mins we have yet to concede a goal. Mockers?

Agree with this. The way we played at the end of season had Jay and Maxi in the side. Bring em both back in the starting 11 I reckon and perhaps Maxi can go on another goal scoring spree.

We did. The problem was AC hit the bar when it was easier to score and thus relieve any pressure which would come second half if the score still remained at nil nil.

Think you may have something here. If we don´t score in the first half at home or 5-10 mins at the start of the second the players seem to get nervy and our performance takes a nose dive and suffers and we only start piling the pressure back on near the end of the match if Suarez hasn´t already successfully scored a beauty out of nothing.

You reckon we´re the 5th best team in the league well we´re not we´re 6th and based on the 2 hard games we have coming up and the way Arsenal are creeping up the table we could soon be 7th unless we put in 2 match winning performances. We have to get the results to be classified as fifth best team or better as missed chances and good performances count for bugger all.

We could now be 6 points away from 4th place already if Spurs win their 2 games in hand and Arsenal are now level on points with us after their dismal start to the season. Jeez this is depressing! Means now we need results against Chelsea and City after f***ing up to Norwich and Swansea. Same old same old of not being able to beat the newly promoted sides. Agree with CarraLegend. Spearo deserves a start against West Brom and take it from there. Would definitely prefer to see Lucas and Spearo together than Gerrard and Adam. Tho reckon Kenny will revert to a Adam/Lucas partnership with Gerrard in the 11 as well. Shame if he does.

Coates was class today apart from the obvious mistake but thought after that he did blindingly well. Spearo played a blinder as well. Suarez again was class and AC looked good and up for it. Good bloody win.
