If Aquilani turns out to be a second saviour, we won't be talking about a shoddy start to the 09-10 season on the back of a few great years of service. Aquilani. I definitely agree with your point, but when it comes down to the current situation, where Gerrard is injured and other worries all over the pitch, aren't we lucky Rafa bought Benny? (who was, arguably, a squad player) Like you say, a balancing act, and somewhere between (for example) Rafa and Arsene might be more ideal.
