Some good highlights reel of JC.. This guy has quite a few good videos, perhaps a little heavy on the editing. You can see from the highlights how many chances he created for N'Gog and Pacheco.. which Torres and Kuyt will finish

The problem is, we haven't seem him play for a decent run of competitive games. I can't really remember now whether this is because he wasn't fit last season or because he just wasn't selected. Give him a run of games in the league and then we can make up our minds, unfortunately it is difficult to see exactly where he fits in, unless Cole plays on the wing.. maybe if Jova plays up front?? Anyway, again, don't think we've seen him in enough back to back competitive games to truly judge.

Thats just it. I fear that he doesn't want us "that badly".. They are probably patient enough to wait for the next club with a bit of history and the right opportunities to come along, and it might not just be in the EPL either. But, then again, this is LFC

In the Rawk thread discussing the owners, the idea is being thrown around that we will be their talisman of European sport. They will showcase chinese power to the West using Liverpool's success just like they did with the Olympics. Sounds *almost* reasonable to me. Worth considering.

So is it generally accepted that Huang did definitely speak to RBS? I was under the impression that this turned out to be untrue, and that RBS denied him making any contact with them.

Good news.. but still, as someone said earlier, its a hell of a lot for the next buyer to live up to the billions promised by Huang's backer, which is unfair. I'm jumping on the 'be sensible' wagon, even if I'm dying to get excited

I think we shouldn't be too hasty. While I tend to agree, that with the given information, Huang's people appear they will be better owners, lets not forget that only a few days ago we would have accepted Kirdi with open arms.. since he surely couldn't be any worse than G & H. If he turns out to be genuine, and the Huang bid is turned down for whatever reason, we cannot hold it against him, just G & H.

Its pretty easy for the media to label him a flop because he hasnt had any game time and he had a 20m price tag. Obviously (hopefully) there is another reason he hasn't played, but if we don't sell him then, like you, I expect him to grow into a good player next season.
