Alright, I'm going to use the same logic I used in the Reina thread... Pretty sure this article is bulls***. It's made up to fit the current feeling in the media and the fans, and fits in quite nicely with the recent quotes Hodgson made about Johnson's form. HOWEVER. I still want Hodgson gone, and definitely believe there is likely to be unrest in the squad (how could there not be, given our s*** performances and results). This week (Chelsea, Wigan, Stoke) was make or break time for Roy, and he certainly broke it. So utterly terribly disappointed that we squandered an excellent chance to take 5th place. Its just poor journalism and even if he does leave in January, they are guessing with this article. Thats how I read it.

I think we are safe with Pepe. Goalkeepers have longer careers, so he will be less concerned with losing two seasons (this and last) fir the club he loves, especially since the future atmm seems bright. I'm remaining optimistic bout Nando too, but wouldnt begrudge a move, since he is reaching his peak years. Love the both, but if they want out can understand why, just hope a World cup medal keeps them happy enough to stay

An Italian bloke from RAWK. Bit of a read, but: Hi fellas, neapolitan guy here. As mentioned, they look at the "English model" of how football hooliganism is managed, and obviously it is not all of their fans. Sounds like a bit of a c**k up with the travel agent, getting seats scattered around, and the point about away fans (visiting Naples) being in a bad area of town is somewhat reasonable, just because they were attacked by Neapolitans doesnt mean they were Napoli fans. Just another perspective, it's all a bit s*** and leaves a bad taste.

I think the biggest thing in their favour is that the Red Sox fans are ecstatic with their owners, while (Hicks especially) the others fans were not. No one picked up on it at the time, but everyone is a bit more wary this time around. And like he said, no point panicking yet..

Good post. Especially pleased about the DoF role, since it limits the damage Roy can do. No way Commoli (sp?) will allow more s*** signings like PFK and Poulsen, especially under the Moneyball directions of NESV. They are playing it smart, and cannot be blamed for keeping Roy here while they search for a new manager/he keeps winning.
