The vermin are responsible for the shenanigans off pitch, this is solely Roy's territory and he's allowed us to be absolutely humiliated. Difficult to protect the man for this whether or not he's only had a handful of games and difficult to see where we go now other than hope for a complete change in management, top to bottom
Love it, absolute classic, Yeah, what does he know about European football! of course its that simple Salcido > Konchesky talk about pompous self serving crap I'll add MFletch > Hodgson Woah see what I did there, .......funny me
Because there are a group of people on this particular website who have made it very clear they never wanted hodgson and have decided to take every single opportunity to undermine his leadership and any chance he has of building anything at this club. For these people there is only one person who could possibly manage Liverpool and that was Benitez so they are going to make damn sure hodgson doesnt. Thats why there's absolutely no perspective, no slack, no appreciation given to this manager who has taken the club on in such difficult circumstances Childish, stupid and an embarrassment to the club and its long history I really wonder what the likes of Paisley and Shanks would be thinking about the treatment this guy is getting from a******s who think they support the club. One of these t***s actually posted that he hoped konchesky would score an own goal on his debut against birmingham - what f***ing mentality is that Grow up and let go of the past and cut the new manager some slack
I think constructive criticism is fine, or even balanced opinion taking into account the fact that he's hardly had much time to stamp his mark and give some credit there are fans who are prepared to go that mile despite their underlying misgivings but thats not always the case and there are fans who need to get a better grip of their attitude
I dont know a thing about banking and god knows nothing surprises me but as RBS has categorized the owners debt as toxic and given the current uncertainties in the financial markets is there really a financial institution out there which would consider giving these pair a refinancing package - given also the fact that Hicks has already defaulted on several occasions in the US Suuuuuuuuuurely not even bankers are that cretinous
Admittedly that would be my worry and I would also doubt whether pressure against our sponsors would result in any extra pressure being applied to Hicks, well not in the current circumstances anyway. I'd honestly only contemplate action against the sponsors in the event that the vermin somehow conspired to retain control of the club Thats a large leap of faith, particularly in current conditions and given our immediate position both on and off pitch I dont think commercial sponsorships of the type we need to attract and maintain are quite so readily available
Somewhere deep within Ryan is a very classy player, every now and again a light goes on and he produces something just a cut above the usual. I'm not unhappy with him here but he's got to realise he will always be a bit part player until he starts to produce the level of football he is capable of on a regular basis
Is the comparison with Salcido simply on the strength of his world cup performance, because we went there with Diao a couple of years back and it wasn't pretty
My apologies if I touched a nerve but you only have to look at some of the comments in the post matched thread to understand that there are a number of individuals who have decided that they are going to make things as difficult for Hodgson as they believe things were made for Benitez. Whatever your views about how Benitez was treated I dont personally believe that after a couple of matches the new manager is deserving of the abuse he has received from those who see themselves as supporters of the club. Same supporters who now seem to be going all coy and claiming that they have the right to criticise sions comments sadly sum it up
I don't think I'm going out on a limb here if i was to say that apart from your dick, your brain is evidently the least used organ in your body applies to the other knuckle dragging slantheaded trolls as well
with the exception of the small fact that Hodgson has only had a few weeks to get to know the players and part of that was to dig us out of the mess he inherited
Its on a knife edge and whatever team he puts out the match is going to played in an intense atmosphere. I have no desire to see us get beat under any circumstances and I'd like us to come away with a win as its a trophy whatever others think. Hodgson will have to think long and hard about who he trusts to stand up against the Turkish side because at the moment that seems to be a major problem. Trabzonspur were solid and comfortable in possession but not spectacular in the final third, I think its going to be one of those games where the first goal really will decide things. I'll be pleased for the manager if we do get through, sorry if we dont. Sadly not emotions that will be shared universally
