I heard something similar on a different show with the logic that 7-0 is so embarrassing that action has to be taken whereas a smaller defeat might not solicit such a root and branch review. Team - Graphic is last game away at Brentford. Zaha (top scorer, 6) still out with a hamstring injury. Hughes expected to be replaced by Lokonga in midfield. Anderson expected to return for Tomkins; Guaita - Mitchell, Geuhi, Anderson, Clyne - Lokanga, Doucoure - Olise, Ayew, Schlupp - Mateta Attacking - Palace are the team with the most "dribbles" at home and most "fouled" at home but 3rd worst at home for Shots-per-Game given average 44% possession making them 6th worst at home Defensivety - with 6th least amount of possession at home it results in conceding the 5th most shots and requiring them to make 2nd most interceptions and 2nd most fouls (all at home). Yeah, absolutely agree. Forgive me for using xG :lol: but I think it will be high today. I suspect alot of chances, but not sure either will be really clinical. Overall, I think both sides will probably come off the pitch thinking they deserved to win it. So I'll go with 2-2 but would not be surprised if its a 3-1 game either way. Is it a Milner in midfield shout, or a Milner at RB shout ?

I'm going for a mad game - loads of chances. I'm convinced that a game like this will appeal to Potter's style of attacking. He'll encourage the back 4 to keep the ball and play with it, and use Jorginho and Kovacic as well in deep areas. From there, pick their moments to play through us and see if we have the legs to cover them when they do pick their moments. That said, they're a bit higgledy-piggledy at the moment so I'd have no confidence in them being fully coherent in their defending for 90mins to keep us out.
