Fox News in America is no less fair and balanced than any news organisation in the US. Their news channels aren't required to be fair and balanced like UK ones are (the BBC doesn't seem to have realised this though) and openly espouse their own political agenda, so it's a poor analogy. Sky Sports just happens to be all about sound-bites and sensationalism and they seem to have it in for Liverpool in a way they have never targetted any other Premier League team. On Saturday, when Liverpool drew away having conceded late and been denied at least one nailed-on penalty, Sky approached the post-match analysis exactly as if Liverpool had been battered and were lucky to get a point; it was basically dressed up as a disaster and the usual slanted points were aimed at Benitez. Later that same day Spurs were held at home by lowly Hull, Man City were shockingly bad against Everton and yesterday Villa were held at home by a poor West Ham team and played badly. However none of these results was analysed with the venom aimed at Liverpool and were basically deemed OK For all the doom and gloom they like to peddle, we are just 4 points off fourth place, but they continually say we have only an outside chance at best of getting there. From where I'm standing with 54 points left to play for and the teams around us pretty average I'll be amazed if we don't get there Whelan is a self-confessed life-long scum supporter
