  1. That Rooney never tracks back does he. Ferguson has ruined him.
  2. Does it matter what it looks like? The biggest issue with this deal is it allows them to cling on and paint a picture of stability, while continuing to load the club with debt.
  3. So this is your big masterplan for success is it? If we had players of the calibre of Messi and Ronaldo, I'm sure Rafa wouldn't overly restrict them either. But as you're an obvious wind up, I'm sure you'll have some pre mediated, cliched drivel to counter that theory.
  4. Wouldn't be that bothered or surprised if true. Those two WC games and the travelling would have taken a lot out of him and he probably would have sat out Saturday anyway.
  5. Why is that serious? It's utterly laughable and something I'd expect to read on a Spurs forum.

If that had been anyone else everyone would have been raving about it. Excellent awareness and techique. He needs to get rid of the pony tail and he'd probably get cut a bit more slack.
  7. Is that the one in the NOTW? I don't think I've ever read a more patronising piece. Apparently our fans are romantics and we're not the paupers we claim to be.
  8. Benayoun Lucas Kuyt
  9. You really are clueless.
  10. Now you know how we feel reading your drivel.
  11. Played well yesterday in his best position. Masch is great at what he does but Lucas offers a bit more composure and passing vision in that deep lying role. It remains to be seen, though, whether he'd be as effective against a better side who press further up the park. But against teams who sit off and let us have the ball, he's ideal.
  12. Haha, Ginger off.
  13. Keane looking really poor. He must be having trouble understanding the tactical genius of 'Arry. Two great chances.
  14. Evra showing his class.
  15. You're right but I think we let them due to our sluggish movment and lack of purpose in possession. Spurs started brightly today, pressing all over the park, but once the mancs found their passing rythmn Spurs haven't been able to get near them. Keane with a sitter.
  16. Our ball retention was woeful that day. The mancs know how to move the ball with pace and accuracy.
  17. I doubt there's ever been a team who harass officials and get away with it like the mancs. Spurs started well but showing their limitations now.
  18. Horrible cockney scum. I knew that was coming.
  19. Why do people do it?
  20. Clever interview. Keeps the pressure on the owners and dampens the expectations for the team, which were getting ridiculous.
  21. That's exactly what it's likely to be, no doubt based on CL qualification every season, which isn't guaranteed thanks to the owners lack of investment in the team. I'm sure they're banking on Rafa to keep working miracles but they'll soon find out that you can't stand still in football, especially with the new financial power down the road.
  22. One of the most recognisable brands in world sport and the manager has no money to spend. Good of them to close the deal post transfer window.
  23. Rafa walking out would start the process. They'd struggle to find a replacment with their reputation in tatters, we wouldn't be able to attract any top players and would be the favourites to miss out on the top 4. It would be a shame but I'd take a few years of rebuilding if it meant new people taking over with the best interests of the club at heart.
  24. Anything illegal will just undermine the cause and turn the majority against who they still percieve as the minority. Our reputation would be damaged, the authorities would come down hard and we could find ourselves in an even more perilous situation, even with new owners. It could even garner support for the owners, which is the last thing we need when there's still plenty of anger surrounding the lack of summer investment.
  25. I think we know where Hicks got his share from then. Unless he's suddenly come into some spare cash, which doesn't seem likely given he's a sinking ship.
