I'm sure they care. But save me the guilt trip. It's an important issue linked to the new stadium but lets not pretend it was top of our list. I doubt the vast majority do, or ever did care about the surrounding area, and it's now being used as another excuse to bash the yanks, which doesn't sit right with me. Stick to the debt, it should be the only target at the moment.

I don't think Purslow should be a fall guy for the owners if he's good at his job. There's no reason why they can't be seperate entities. Or where does it end? Have we moved on from Ayres now by the way?

According to Bloomberg, the yanks have agreed to pay a fifth of its 290 million-pound ($478 million) debt in return for Royal Bank of Scotland Group Plc and Wachovia Corp. refinancing the rest of the loan. Not sure what that works out at it. Whatever it is it's still too much and draining much needed resources.
