Its ambitious I agree and I hope it works because in the long term if we have an academy set up like those mentioned we will be ushering in the good times...I mean everyone whether it be Rodgers will be great or Rodgers will be bad is speculating....I see the fundamentals of what they are trying to do is good but I'm not sure this is the time to be doing it. It seems more logical to me to introduce this sort of system once in those champions league spots. Realistically how long do you think it could take for this sort of thing to develop - from my reading of the issues it seems we are very very keen to get back into 4th ASAP- is this the fastest way to do it? I mean do you think they will persist with Rodgers if we are in 10th in December this year? I will be supporting heart and soul no matter who is managing

If he manages to get the best out of downing I think he will be looking a lot closer to 4th than 7th

Next time ill be sure to make up some 'positive' facts about Rodgers to soothe your battered soul
