well done you are totally right, I don't think there is someone out their that can win us the title with the lack of resources that we have. I love Masch to bits and would have named my son after him if my wife would have let me. but if someone was to come in with a £30 mill + for Masch I would sell as I think Lucas can do Masch job, and partenr AA when fit. Masch is the best in the world at what he does without a doubt, but Liverpool need to strengthen the squad, with more top calss players. I hate it when I hear pundits say how many liverpool players can get into the untied side.... I am still fully behind Rafa... but people forget to mention on TV the injury crisis that Liverpool have at the moment. Agger, skrtle, riera, aurilo, dossena, aquallani, gerrard, kelly, torres 80% fit + that we just don't have the money to spend on our first choice players....but have to settle for second best at inflated prices. torres was taking off as precaution, look at gerrard he was rushed back and now god knows when he is back....we have to think about the long term rather than short term.

sorry were you watching the same game. on a number of occassions Lucas saved with his tracking back, and winning the ball very well. Gerrard's was not upto hisusal standard and gave the ball away a number of times. Lucas tracked back to win the ball, this happened throughout the game. the ITV & Sky bundits and commentators irritated me by saying the Gerrard can't baby sit Lucas all the time. that's rubbish Lucas was protecting Gerrard as he went forward and never tracked back.

Could people stop slating Lucas...if you look at the games we have played Gerrard adn Torres haven't been great our big player and neither has Kuyt.....but nobody talks about them. Sure Lucas is not Xabi Alonso, but then again Xabi is one of the best in thew world at what he does. We don't look the same team as last year. Last year was a an excellent season, but we had players who peaked that season and I can't see the same performance this year. We need an Arab Billionaire to come in and suppport Rafa. not those tight yanks.....Money talks in this league and you need to spend for success and maintain your position otherwise teams will be catchin up and overtaking you.......like Man s***ty.

Totally agree. If you compare him with Anderson of Scum (costing £18 mill) i know who I would rather have in my team....LUCAS ofcourse....the critism he got last year was undeserved, and well done Lucas and Rafa for building his confidence and showing us his true ability and why he is worth the £5 mill paid for him. If he was an British player, they would be talking about £10 mill for him....

I can't see pirol being a success in the EPL. although he is free kick specialist, I think the pace of the EPL would be too much for him. He may play well against the big club because he will get time, but against the smaller clubs (i.e. Everton) he will struggle

I disagree bro, I thought Xabi has been brilliant and will remain one my favs LFC players. He was a true professional last year, LFC tried to get rid of him for cheap the year before, but he shrugged it off and he played really well and was one of our players of the season.
