I can't bear to watch liverpool at the moment because of hodgson...please NESV sack him and and get someone that will save our season... how far back he has taken us to rest our players for europe in order to concentrate on a our relegation battle says it all about the man. I would like Pelligreni to be our new manager

s**** ...s****, SHHHHITTTEEEE....that what we are at the moment uncle Woy has no idea....he keeps blaming other apart from blaming himself first it was Masch's fault, and last it was the fans protesting... woy is a good manager for a relegation battling side (which is what we are at the moment because of him) and LFC is too big for him and his 2 s**** signing (Koncheskey and Poluson)

I don't understand why he plays poulson...in the middle of the field ....he is hopeless

Good Luck Masch. you will be sorely missed. you can't blame him really Family comes first. The best DMC in the world, and one of Liverpool best ever. Shame that the money is gonna go to pay off our debt.

I don't mean sing rafa's name literally, as that would be unfair on woy. But appreciate what rafa has done.

When I used to read stories about Valencia fans still singing Benitez' name after his departure, I always knew that that would happen to Liverpool in turn, especially given the hounding he endured for 3-4 of the last years of his tenure. Never did I think that day would come two league matches into his successor's tenure. And I think it is somewhat justified. I am normally loathe to rush to judgment when it comes to football, this instant-reaction bi-polar mentality where a club and its players are 'fantastic' if they've won their last match and 'rubbish' if they've lost usually irks me. But I honestly cannot remember a performance under Benitez (since 2005/06) in which we allowed ourselves to be so clearly inferior when facing a good side. For all Benitez' failings in dropping too many points against mediocre opposition, when faced with a top side, Liverpool usually looked the equal or superior of whoever we were facing, even if the result didn't follow. For example, the last time United did the double over Liverpool, it was against the run of play each time, when United won 3-0 it was due to playing with 10 men, etc. The last time Liverpool was truly thumped by a markedly-superior side, as far as I remember, was in 2005/06 when Chelsea won 4-1 at Stanford Bridge. Last night's match seemed to mark a return to those days, and I can't help but feel that it's a result of Benitez' departure and Hodgson's arrival. At this point, I should make it clear that I think Hodgson was and still is the best man available, and I don't think Hodgson should be fired or anything like that (but he was only installed as amanger because he was a ‘YES MAN’. But Hodgson (a poor man’s Houllier) will not improve on Benitez' reign, and will not take Liverpool back into the top four. Whether he will even manage to improve on seventh place is questionable, and ideally Benitez one of the best managers in the world should never have been asked to leave. I feel awful for saying this, it's like wishing your grandfather (Roy Hodgson) would finally pass away to prove to your irritating cousin (the media) that neither of you stand to inherit anything from him (or, that Benitez was a fantastic manager over-performing with the constraints placed on him.) Of course, judging by the fact that the media haven't accepted that Sven did a good job with England, nor that McClaren is a competent manager, and are currently sharpening the knives to Capello, maybe the English perception of Benitez will never change. Now people should respect what Benitez has done at Liverpool and remember the great buys he has made (Torres, Reina, Masch, Agger, Skrtle, Aurlio, Garcia, Kuyt) improved Gerrard as a player, found his position is just behind the striker and not as Hodgson seems to think in the middle of the field.

Luke Young's deal is Dead....best news I heared today thank God....he is OK for 500k but not 2.5 mill for a 31 years old. I am just crossing my finger that Woy has plans for Pocheco, because I think he could be our next big thing...if he is good enough, he is old enough...

Liverpool are undefeated in the last 20 games that Masch has played....they guy is the best in the world but lets hope we get some World class players in exchange, as the money will probably go to paying of the Americans debt....I just hope roumers of Montari + 12.5 aren't true because that would be outrageous.......

I would say currently without a doubt Lucas has been our player of the season he has performed consistently throughout the season. his passing, distribution and willingness to get involved and fight for everything is excellent. he is showing heart and desire and you cannot fault it. I think the media should come out and apologise fro picking on Lucas all the time. I don't see them picking on S**** Anderson, or Denilson who cost more than lucas but apparently it is an outrage that they are not in the Brazil squad.

Lucas Gerrard Insua but Pepe and Torres nearly made it in the top three world class contribution
